Originally trained in Holistic, Swedish Massage and Integrated Bodywork, Heather has expanded her skills to include Remedial Massage for common ailments and repetitive strain injuries, Pregnancy Massage, and Hot Stones. She is currently developing her Myofascial Release techniques. Over the years, Heather has accumulated a wealth of massage experience and started teaching massage in 2010. It works by resonating with a person's Ki (vital force energy) through touch. It seeks to resolve the underlying causes of a condition, helping the person with their healing process and self-development. Shiatsu is a deeply relaxing and restorative experience. Treatments take place on a futon at floor level in a calm environment. Acupressure points and gentle stretching are used to bring deep relaxation and integral restoration to your state of being. Valerie also offers a combined treatment with homeopathy. The treatment reinforces the integration between body and mind that in turn restores and revitalises the individual to self heal. He has a broad range of experience having worked in a variety of clinical settings including the NHS, private clinics and community/voluntary projects particularly in working with HIV/AIDS. His clients include people with back, neck & shoulder pain, carpal tunnel, depression, anxiety, headaches and stress. Her treatments take a holistic approach (body, mind and spirit) and will vary depending on what you need.
